Not saying it's a bad product, since it works great for a number of my friends, just be sure to match your shampoo/conditioner to the chemistry of your hair. I've found that Cowboy Magic works fucking wonders if you have what my ex dubbed "Shag carpet hair", or thick, wavy hair that feels like dog hair. Really, stuff's a fucking miracle.
